Well what is GoGo? GoGo is kinda the only and worst inflight internet provider.
Prices range from $9.99 for one flight to $39.99 unlimited service per month.
Great now that we are clear on that
will it blend? how does it work in real life?
I’ve used GoGo a few times now to work during flights, emails, IM’s and general browsing…
The speeds are slow, don’t get me wrong sometimes slow is better then nothing but don’t look for anything amazing.
Service is spotty at best and here is my story.
I tried to stream a game on my phone – Game 3 Miami Heat vs OKC Thunder (let’s not get into the game) and the moment I try to stream via my PAID ESPN go service I get a nice notification hold on your out of the US so we can’t stream to you, please try again when you are back in the US.
Needless to say I was traveling from DFW to RDU (NC)…. ok that’s not working let’s try NBA TV – again PAID…. no go again.
So I send an email to GoGo customer services telling them about my experience and requesting a voucher for my next flight, and here is what I got in response.
|Hello,Thank you for contacting Gogo. In general, streaming full length television or movies from the ground (NetFlix, Hulu, etc.) is not supported. Watching a few short video clips should work most of the time.
For immediate assistance when you are having an issue with Gogo, please contact us via Live Chat by clicking https://custhelp.gogoinflight.com while you’re in the air or on the ground. We can also be reached 24/7 at 877-350-0038.

So I sent them a nice response (telling them they should note this one their MAIN page) but never heard anything back.
After reading their TOS I found the main thing that I love to see on any site
The Service is provided “As-Is” and as available. Gogo and its Service providers, partners, and affiliates expressly disclaim any warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the warranties or conditions of merchantability
Gogo (and each of its service providers) makes no warranty that: (a) the Service will meet your requirements; (b) the Service will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free and malicious code-free basis; or (c) the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.
WoW – needless to say I’m not paying for their service unless it’s paid for by someone else.
I would be ok with everything if they notes some more details on their main page but a SCAM is a SCAM
